Contract Farming on Hadrians Wall

Halton Red House Farm is a working livestock farm, run under a Contract Farming Arrangement with Matfen Home Farms. Katie and Will arrived in October 2024 and have been busy getting the farm back to its former glory with help from our faithful border collies Bex, Gem and newest addition Floss.  

Whether it’s a bringing new life in the lambing shed at April, bedding up or making silage in the warmer months – there is always something going on! We love showing people around so do ask us about the farm if you are interested.
